Watch Aurora FD get ready for Fire Prevention Week 2017

Inflatable Fire Education House Landing Pad Fun

Aurora Fire Department is ready for Fire Prevention Week 2017! They were kind enough to provide a video of them setting up their Inflatable Fire Education House! Reasons departments love this tool include:

  • Storage/Transportation – departments no longer need to haul a large trailer around or figure our where to store it when it is not in use. The house can fit in the back of a pick up truck and takes about 2-3 firefighters to set up.
  • Ease of Use – once the house is rolled out and zipped up, all you need to do is turn on the blower and guide the inflatable as it inflates.
  • Cost – working with fire departments, budgets are tight. The cost of the inflatable fire education house is a fraction of the cost of most fire trailers. The original size starts at around $7,000. Some fire trailers cost 10x that!
  • KIDS LOVE IT- Fire education is a critical part of fire prevention. Watching kids engage, learn and go through the house is incredible! The house does have a hard floor – first and foremost this is an education tool. However, there is an exit ramp that kids climb out and exit the inflatable fire education house.

Watch Arvada's Fire Department set up their Inflatable Fire Education House. Estimated time to inflate is 30 minutes. Departments love having an inflatable fire house because of the ease of use, portability, it can be used both indoors and outside and is a fraction of the traditional fire trailer.
